Going beyond the apparent, beyond the superficial, the physical body, the woman encompasses the loftiest of what existence has to offer… in terms of values, the capabilities, potentiality and strength.
Shakti, the power of creation, of meting out life force, is the phenomenon that existence depends upon to manifest itself. And it is the woman who is bestowed with this capability… hence, in the truest sense, the woman is the consort of the Creator.
Again, looking beyond the matter, the ‘feminine’ embodies the exalted values of being receptive, accepting and overflowing with benevolence. It is these values which bring true joy in one’s being. It is these values which make the world go on, creating bonds of love and potential for growth, which have preserved the life in all its beauty and glory.
Celebrating these very values and the phenomenon of creation, we bring together women artists of various ages and backgrounds to show-case their expression in form of an art exhibition. The exhibition explores the creative faculty of the woman when directed towards artistic creation through fine arts.
