| “S. Harshavardhan, born in 1958, trained as a bio-scientist with a Masters in the Subject from BITS Pilani and a Diploma in Business Management. He gave up a lucrative career in Pharmaceuticals in the corporate sector to pursue art. He is a self taught artist and held his solo exhibition at Singapore; Chennai; Mumbai and thrice in New Delhi. He has also participated in several group shows across India and abroad including First Biennale of Contemporary Art, Romania in 2005: India artist for France, New Delhi in 2004; 2D/3D, Hong Kong in 2003; Chennai and Mumbai in 2002; New Delhi in 2001; Post Modern Indian art, USA in 1997; Bharat Bhawan Biennial of Contemporary Indian Art, Bhopal in 1996. he lives and works in New delhi. |
